Essa placa é uma placa de um aço alto Al contendo 0,02 a 0,50% em massa de C e 0,20 a 2,00% em massa de Al, a placa satisfazendo o relacionamento representado pelas fórmulas: [Zr]+0,2×[Ti] maior ou igual a 4/3×[Al]×[N] e 0,0010% em massa menor ou igual a [Zr] em que [Zr], [Ti], [Al] e [N] respectivamente representam os teores (% em massa) na placa.
