organismo ou micro-organismo recombinante, uso do organismo ou micro-organismo recombinante e método para a produção de isobuteno. é descrito um organismo ou micro-organismo recombinante que tem capacidade de converter enzimaticamente acetil-coa em isobuteno, (a) em que, no dito organismo ou micro-organismo: (i) acetil-coa é enzimaticamente convertido em acetoacetil-coa, (ii) acetoacetil-coa é enzimaticamente convertido em 3-hidroxi-3-metilglutaril-coa, (iii) 3-hidroxi-3-metilglutaril-coa é enzimaticamente convertido em 3-metilglutaconil-coa, (iv) 3-metilglutaconil-coa é enzimaticamente convertido em 3-metilcrotonil-coa, e (v) em que o dito 3-metilcrotonil-coa é convertido em isobuteno: (a) convertendo-se enzimaticamente 3-metilcrotonil-coa em ácido 3-metilcrotônico que é, então, enzimaticamente convertido ainda no dito isobuteno; ou (b) convertendo-se enzimaticamente 3-metilcrotonil-coa em 3-hidroxi-3-metilbutiril-coa que é então, enzimaticamente convertido ainda em ácido 3-hidroxi-3-metilbutírico que é então, enzimaticamente convertido ainda em ácido 3-fosfonoxi-3-metilbutírico que é, então, enzimaticamente convertido ainda no dito isobuteno; (b) em que o dito organismo ou micro-organismo recombinante tem um grupamento aumentado de coenzima a (coa) através do organismo ou micro-organismo a partir do qual o mesmo é derivado devido a: (i) uma captação aumentada de pantotenato; e/ou (ii) uma conversão aumentada de pantotenato em coa. além disso, é descrito o uso de tal organismo ou micro-organismo recombinante para a produção de isobuteno. além disso, é descrito um método para a produção de isobuteno cultivando-se tal organismo ou micro-organismo recombinante em um meio de cultura adequado sob condições adequadas.
