Abstract
uso de promotores induzíveis na produção de ácido glicórico - a presente invenção se refere ao uso de promotores induzíveis na produção de ácido glicórico através de fermentação. a presente invenção diz respeito a um método para a produção de ácido glicórico em um processo fermentativo que compreende as seguintes etapas: - cultivar um micro-organismo modificado em um meio de cultura apropriado que compreende uma fonte de carbono, - modular, no referido micro-organismo, a expressão de um gene alvo com um estímulo externo, e - recuperar ácido glicórico a partir do meio de cultura, - em que no referido micro-organismo modificado, a expressão de pelo menos um gene envolvido na produção de ácido glicórico está sob o controle de um promotor induzível heterólogo, cuja atividade é modulada com o referido estímulo externo. a invenção também diz respeito ao micro-organismo modificado no método de produção de ácido glicórico.
