um fio de aço, um método para a fabricação do mesmo, e um método para a fabricalção de uma mola ou fios de uso médico. a invenção se refere a um fio de aço adequado para fazer uma mola ou produtos de fio médico que melhoram notavelmente o desempenho do fio de aço inoxidável convencional. o aço compreende (em % de peso): c: 0.02 a 0.15, si: 0.1 a 0.9, mn: 0.8 a 1.6, cr: 16 a 20, ni: 7.5 a 10.5, mo:(menor igual) 3, al: 0.5 a 2.5,ti: (menor igual) 0.15, n: (menor igual) 0.05, elementos opcionais e impurezas equilibram fe, caracterizado pelo fato de que a quantidade total de cr e ni é de 25 a 27 em % de peso, e caracterizado pelo fato de que o aço tem uma microestrutura incluindo, em % de volume, martensita: 40 a 90, austenita: 10 a 60 e delta ferrita: (menor igual) 5.
