Abstract
a presente invenção refere-se a um método para desidratação de lodo a partir de um processo de fabricação de polpa, papel ou papelão, tal como lodo de destintamento. o método compreende obter um lodo aquoso compreendendo uma fase aquosa e material de fibra suspenso na fase aquosa. o lodo é submetido a uma etapa de pré-espessamento onde uma primeira parte da fase aquosa é removida do lodo e a uma etapa de prensagem onde uma segunda parte adicional da fase aquosa é removida do lodo. o lodo prensado a seco é assim obtido. antes ou na etapa de pré-espessamento, uma composição polimérica tendo uma densidade de carga de no máximo 1,7 meq / g, de preferência no máximo 1,5 meq / g, mais preferencialmente no máximo 1,1 meq / g, é adicionada ao lodo. a composição polimérica compreende um primeiro polímero sintético catiônico, que tem uma densidade de carga de ao menos 1,0 meq / g a ph 2,8, e um segundo polímero catiônico, que é um copolímero obtido por polimerização de (met) acrilamida e ao menos um segundo monômero catiônico, a quantidade de monômeros catiônicos sendo 2-19% em peso, calculada a partir da quantidade total dos monômeros, o segundo polímero sendo polimerizado na presença do primeiro polímero catiônico. o primeiro polímero tem uma densidade de carga mais alta do que o segundo polímero.
