o presente pedido divulga um método de ligação de um íon metálico em água. o método compreende o contato da água com uma fração de material orgânico dissolvido (dom) para formar um complexo entre a fração dom e o íon metálico; e, opcionalmente, separar o complexo da água. o presente pedido também divulga um uso de dom para ligar um íon metálico na água.
