Abstract
a presente invenção refere-se a uma ferramenta de corte revestida compreendendo um substrato e um revestimento que compreende uma ou mais camadas. o revestimento compreende uma camada de a-al2o3 com uma espessura de 1-20 µm, depositada por deposição química a vapor (cvd), em que a dita camada de a-al2o3 exibe um padrão de difração de raios-x e em que o coeficiente de textura tc(hkl) é definido de acordo com a fórmula de harris, onde 1<tc(0 2 4)<4 e 3<tc(0 0 12)<6.
