Abstract
a presente invenção se refere a um bocal para uma tocha de arco plasma. o bocal compreende um corpo termicamente condutor tendo uma extremidade distal, uma extremidade proximal e um eixo longitudinal que se estende através do mesmo. o bocal também inclui um orifício de saída de arco de plasma na extremidade distal do corpo termicamente condutor. o bocal inclui ainda uma cintura de arrefecimento localizada de modo circunferencial sobre a superfície externa do corpo condutor de calor. a cintura de arrefecimento inclui uma inclinação de entrada de líquido, uma inclinação de saída de líquido e uma região de troca de calor entre a inclinação de entrada de líquido e a inclinação de saída de líquido. a região de troca de calor se estende substancialmente paralela ao eixo longitudinal, e a inclinação de entrada de líquido e a inclinação de saída de líquido estão orientadas de modo geral perpendicular ao eixo longitudinal.
