Abstract

a presente invenção refere-se a misturas de coletor secundário contendo pelo menos um composto (i) selecionado do grupo de álcoois graxos ramificados com 12-16 átomos de carbono tendo um grau de ramificação (db) de 1-3,5 e seus alcoxilatos com um grau de etoxilação (de) de até 4, e pelo menos um composto (ii) selecionado do grupo de alcoxilatos de compostos de hidrocarboneto não iônicos com um grau de etoxilação maior que 3 e tensoativos à base de carboidratos, em que, se ambos os compostos (i) e (ii) forem álcoois etoxilados, a mistura tem uma distribuição com grau de etoxilação bimodal; ao uso do composto (ii) como um emulsificante para o composto (i) em um líquido; a composições coletoras contendo as misturas de coletor secundário com um coletor primário que é um composto tensoativo anfotérico ou aniônico; e ao uso das composições acima em um processo para a flotação de espuma de minérios não sulfídicos.
