Abstract

a invenção fornece um sistema de reação para a produção de carbonato de etileno e/ou etilenoglicol, em que a dita reação compreende um sistema de leito de guarda posicionado a montante de um reator de eo catalítico, em que o dito sistema de leito de guarda compreende uma linha de alimentação, que fornece uma alimentação gasosa a ser tratada e uma linha efluente configurada para remover a alimentação gasosa tratada, e dois ou mais vasos de leito de guarda dispostos em série em ordem sequencial, em que cada vaso de leito de guarda compreende uma entrada, um leito de material de leito de guarda e uma saída, em que a entrada de cada vaso de leito de guarda é afixada por meio de válvulas tanto à linha de alimentação quanto à saída do vaso de leito de guarda que precede a mesma em ordem sequencial, e em que a saída de cada vaso de leito de guarda é afixada por meio de válvulas tanto à linha efluente quanto à entrada do vaso de leito de guarda que segue a mesma em ordem sequencial e em que o vaso de leito de guarda que segue o último vaso de leito de guarda em ordem sequencial é o primeiro vaso de leito de guarda em ordem sequencial.
