Abstract

é fornecido um método para produzir uma composição de polímero oco que compreende as etapas de (a) proporcionar uma dispersão aquosa compreendendo (i) partículas de polímero oco, em que as partículas de polímero oco compreendem unidades polimerizadas de um ou mais monômeros de multivinil, (ii) água, e (iii) um ou mais álcool orgânico, e (b) remover água da dispersão aquosa para formar uma composição seca compreendendo as partículas de polímero oco e o álcool, em que a água está ausente da composição seca ou, ainda, a água está presente na composição seca numa quantidade tal que a razão em peso da água para partículas de polímero oco seja de 0,2:1 ou menos. também são fornecidas composições secas que podem ser feitas por um tal método e dispersões não aquosas de tais composições secas.
