A presente invenção prevê um método de corte compreendendo uma etapa de corte de cortar um material de peça de trabalho com uma ferramenta de corte para deste modo formar uma ranhura passante no material de peça de trabalho em que, na etapa de corte, a ranhura passante é formada no material de peça de trabalho cortando o material de peça de trabalho com a ferramenta de corte enquanto colocando em contato um lubrificante auxiliar de corte com a porção de contato da ferramenta de corte com o material de peça de trabalho e/ou a porção de contato do material de peça de trabalho com a ferramenta de corte, e o material de peça de trabalho compreende um material compósito reforçado com fibra.
