Abstract

um dispositivo eletrônico ou elétrico ou componente do mesmo tendo um revestimento formado sobre o mesmo pela exposição do referido dispositivo eletrônico ou elétrico ou componente do mesmo a um plasma que compreende um ou mais compostos monoméricos por um período de tempo suficiente para permitir a formação de um revestimento polimérico protetor sobre uma superfície dos mesmos; em que o revestimento polimérico protetor forma uma barreira física sobre uma superfície do dispositivo eletrônico ou elétrico ou componente do mesmo; em que cada monômero é um composto de fórmula i(a): i(a) ou um composto de fórmula i(b), i(b) em que cada um de r1 a r9 é selecionado independentemente de hidrogênio ou halogênio ou um grupo alquila de cadeia linear ou ramificada c1-c6 opcionalmente substituída; cada x é selecionado independentemente de hidrogênio ou halogênio; a é de 0-6; b é de 2 a 14; e c é 0 ou 1 e em que, quando cada x é f ou quando pelo menos um x é halogênio, em particular f, a razão de intensidade ftir/atr de cx3/c=o do revestimento é menor do que (c + 1)0,6e-0,1n, em que n é a + b + c + 1; e em que, quando cada x é h, a razão de intensidade ftir/atr de cx3/c=o é menor que (c + 1)0,25±0,02, opcionalmente em que a barreira é uma barreira física conformal.
