Abstract

fornecimento de um fio de aço tratado termicamente com excelentes características de resistência à fadiga. o aço tratado termicamente da presente invenção tem uma composição química predeterminada, o restante sendo ferro e impurezas inevitáveis, em que o fio de aço tratado termicamente inclui, numa estrutura de martensita temperada a uma profundidade de 0,3 mm a partir de uma camada superficial: carbonetos com base em cr com um diâmetro equivalente ao círculo de 0,1 µm ou mais e inferior a 0,3 µm em 0,20 partículas/µm2 ou menos, carbonetos com base em cr com um diâmetro equivalente ao círculo de 0,3 µm ou mais e menos de 0,7 µm em 0,002 partículas/µm2 ou menos e os carbonetos com base em cr com um diâmetro equivalente ao círculo de 0,7 µm ou mais em 0,0010 partículas/µm2 ou menos, e em que a quantidade de austenita residual excede 5% e 15% ou menos, em termos de uma relação em volume
