Abstract

os álcoois vinil-funcionais são sililados por reação com um composto de hidreto de silil hidrolisável. o álcool de partida é aquecido e, então, combinado com o hidreto de silil e o catalisador e deixado aquecer exotermicamente. o resfriamento é aplicado quando a conversão de grupos vinila está entre 90 a 99%. em algumas modalidades, quantidades específicas de água estão presentes. o regime de resfriamento e o controle do teor de água reduzem algumas reações secundárias, levando a maiores rendimentos para o produto desejado.
