Abstract

a presente invenção refere-se a um inoculante de silagem que consiste essencialmente em: a) pelo menos uma espécie bacteriana de ácido láctico heterofermentativa obrigatória, ou cepa, e b) pelo menos uma espécie homofermentativa bacteriana, ou cepa, que (i) não reduz o crescimento de a), e (ii) reduz rapidamente o ph sem produzir uma quantidade excessiva de ácido láctico. ainda, a invenção refere-se a um método para produzir um produto alimentício fermentado, o dito método compreendendo inocular um material vegetal com o inoculante de silagem de acordo com a invenção. foi surpreendentemente descoberto que o inoculante de silagem é efetivo até mesmo se a silagem tiver apenas sido incubada durante um período de até 2 ou até 4 dias
