Abstract
PROCESSO PARA A PREPARAÇÃO DE ÁCIDOS 4-ALCÓXI-3-HIDROXIPICOLÍNICOS. A presente invenção refere-se a 4,6-dibromo-3-hidroxipicoli-nonitrila que pode ser preparada a partir de furfural em uma série de etapas químicas selecionadas dentre aminação de ciano, formação de sal de amina e rearranjo de bromação. Os ácidos 4-alcóxi-3-hidroxipi-colínicos podem ser convenientemente preparados a partir de 4,6-dibromo-3-hidroxipicolinonitrila em uma série de etapas químicas selecionadas dentre substituição de bromo, hidrólise de nitrila e redução de halogênio.
