Abstract

um processo para a purificação de l-a- glicerofosforilcolina é descrito, em que l-a- glicerofosforilcolina é cristalizado a partir de dmso ou a partir de uma mistura de dmso com pelo menos outro solvente, preferivelmente selecionado a partir de água, álcool, solventes halogenados, éteres, ésteres e/ou amidas. tal processo permite obter l-a-glicerofosforilcolina tendo uma pureza maior do que 99,5%, preferivelmente maior do que 99,7%, ainda mais preferivelmente maior do que ou igual a 99,9%. um método para determinar a pureza de l-a- glicerofosforilcolina também é descrito, compreendendo a eluição de l-a-glicerofosforilcolina através de uma coluna de hplc tendo uma fase estacionária amino, e subsequente detecção de l-a-glicerofosforilcolina em si, e qualquer impureza do mesmo, por meio de um tipo de detector de dispersão de luz por evaporação.
