Abstract

CORREÇÃO DE ANOMALIAS LOCALIZADAS DE SUPERFÍCIE DE PNEU. Sistemas e métodos para melhorar a uniformidade de pneu, por exemplo, para reduzir ruído de cavidade e outros efeitos causados por anomalias de superfície de pneu localizadas são fornecidos. A anomalia de superfície de pneu localizada pode ser manifestada como um pico local de desvio radial ou outro parâmetro de uniformidade (por exemplo, variação de força radial) para o pneu. O pico local de desvio radial pode estar dentro de tolerâncias de uniformidade para desvio radial, mas ainda pode contribuir para ruído de cavidade pelos altos efeitos harmônicos causados pelo pico local. De acordo com aspectos da presente divulgação, a localização e/ou as características identificáveis de uma anomalia de superfície de pneu localizada podem ser identificadas. Um dispositivo de ablação pode ser usado na banda de rodagem do pneu para remover material de pneu numa localização azimutal associada com a anomalia de superfície de pneu localizada para melhorar a uniformidade do pneu.
