Abstract

MÉTODO DE LOCALIZAÇÃO DE UM VEÍCULO QUE HOSPEDA UM SENSOR, SISTEMA ARRANJADO PARA LOCALIZAR UM VEÍCULO, VEÍCULO TENDO UM SENSOR MONTADO NO MESMO, SERVIDOR ARRANJADO PARA RECEBER UM PEDIDO DE REDE, E, MEIO LEGÍVEL POR MÁQUINA. Um método de localização de um veículo que hospeda um sensor compreendendo as etapas de capturar dados a partir do sensor provendo uma cena detectada em torno do veículo em um momento atual, processar a cena detectada para extrair um conjunto de características a partir da cena detectada e para determinar, usando as características extraídas, uma posição do veículo a partir da cena detectada em relação à posição do sensor em um momento precedente, comparar o conjunto extraído de características a partir da cena detectada com uma ou mais experiências armazenadas, em que cada experiência armazenada compreende uma pluralidade de conjuntos de características, onde cada conjunto de características foi determinado a partir de uma cena detectada previamente, para determinar se a cena detectada pode ser reconhecida dentro de qualquer das experiências armazenadas; e se o conjunto extraído de características da cena detectada é reconhecido dentro de qualquer uma das experiências armazenadas, então esta experiência armazenada é usada para produzir uma estimativa da posição do veículo no momento atual com relação à experiência armazenada.
