resumo patente de invenção: "composição para o uso em aumentar a sensibilidade à insulina e/ou reduzir a resistência à insulina". a presente invenção refere-se a uma composição compreendendo pelo menos um ácido graxo poli-insaturado de cadeia longa, pelo menos um probiótico e uma mistura de oligossacarídeos, a dita mistura contendo pelo menos um de lacto-n-neotetraose (lnnt) e lacto-n-tetraose (lnt), pelo menos um oligossacarídeo n-acetilado diferente de lnnt e lnt, pelo menos um oligossacarídeo sialilado e pelo menos um oligossacarídeo neutro, para o uso em aumentar a sensibilidade à insulina e/ou reduzir a resistência à insulina. esta composição opcionalmente compreende ainda 2'-fucosil lactose (fl). esta composição é particularmente adaptada para o uso em lactentes que nasceram pré-termo e/ou que experienciaram iugr, em mulheres grávidas sofrendo de diabete gestacional e em crianças, adolescentes, e adultos sofrendo de resistência à insulina e/ou diabete tipo ii.
