Abstract

método de operar um veículo equipado com um sistema reforçador pneumático um aparelho e método para melhorar o desempenho de veículo pela aplicação de reforço pneumático a motores de veículo, incluindo motores a diesel, tendo pelo menos um turbocarregador que fornece ar para o motor, de uma maneira que aumenta a saída de torque do motor embora minimizando o potencial para ultrapassar vários limites de operação até a extensão máxima praticável. o controlador do sistema reforçador pneumático do veículo implementa estratégias para moldar a taxa de injeção de ar durante um evento de reforço, adaptando a injeção de ar pra obter saída de torque máxima do motor, embora respeitando os limites operacionais, controlando a sincronização, duração, quantidade e/ou padrão de injeção durante um evento de reforço para conseguir uma distribuição refinada de injeção de ar comprimido durante o curso do evento de reforço para fornecer a saída de torque do motor desejada e eficiência de combustível embora minimizando o potencial para ultrapassar uma ampla variedade de limites de operação, reguladores, de engenharia e de conforto de passageiro.
