Abstract

processo para produção de ácido acético. a presente invenção refere-se a um método para controlar um processo de produção do ácido acético. o método compreende: (i) reagir o metanol e monóxido de carbono na presença de um catalisador de carbonilação, um estabilizante de catalisador, iodeto de metila, água e acetato de metila para produzir uma mistura no reator compreendendo o catalisador, o estabilizante de catalisador, metanol, monóxido de carbono, dióxido de carbono, iodeto de metila, acetato de metila, água e ácido acético; (ii) medir a concentração de um componente da mistura no reator por análise espectroscopia de raman, e (iii) ajustar a concentração do componente na mistura do reator em resposta à concentração medida. o método da invenção é particularmente útil para medir e controlar a concentração do monóxido de carbono na mistura liquida do reator.
