Abstract

cristalizador e método para produção de cristais de aduto fenol-bpa. tanto um cristalizador como o método para a produção evaporativa de cristais de aduto fenol-bpa são providos para alcançar um crescimento mais uniforme dos cristais enquanto suprimindo nucleação indesejada dos cristais. o cristalizador inclui um recipiente cilíndrico; um tubo de sucção disposto concentricamente dentro do recipiente cilíndrico de modo que um espaço anelar seja definido entre o recipiente e o tudo; um impulsor que circula líquido no recipiente e o tubo; um impulsor que circula líquido no recipiente através do tubo de sucção e do espaço anelar, e uma pluralidade de bocais montados em torno da parede interna do dito recipiente cilíndrico os quais introduzem um refrigerante evaporativo no recipiente. cada um dos bocais inclui uma extremidade de descarga disposta entre 30% e 60% da extensão radial do espaço anelar e localizada abaixo de uma extremidade superior do tubo de sucção a uma distância entre 50% e 150% do diâmentro do recipiente. tal arranjo dos bocais provê uma concentração uniforme e consistente de refrigerante pela superfície da zona de ebulição, o que previne ou pelo menos reduz a nucleação indesejada dos cristais nas superfícies internas do recipiente e promove o crescimento uniforme dos cristais por prover um grau consistente e uniforme de supersaturação através do espaço anelar da área de ebulição.
