Abstract

PROCESSO PARA A PRODUÇÃO DE ANIDRIDOS. Um processo para a produção de anidridos pelo contato de uma corrente de alimentação gasosa com um catalisador particulado, o processo sendo realizado em um reator tubular tendo uma entrada e um saída, a saída sendo localizada a jusante da entrada, o reator compreendendo um ou mais tubos tendo localizado nos mesmos um ou mais portadores para o catalisador particulado e meio de resfriamento em contato com os tubos; em que o portador de catalisador compreende: um recipiente anular para conter catalisador em uso, o recipiente tendo uma parede interna perfurada definindo um tubo, uma parede externa perfurada, uma superfície superior fechando o recipiente anular e uma superfície inferior fechando o recipiente anular; uma superfície fechando o fundo do tubo formado pela parede interna do recipiente anular; uma aba estendendo para cima a partir da parede externa perfurada do recipiente anular a partir de uma posição em ou próxima à superfície inferior do recipiente até uma posição abaixo do local de uma vedação; e uma vedação localizada em ou próxima a superfície superior e estendendo a partir do recipiente por uma distância que estende além de uma superfície externa da aba; o processo compreendendo: (a) introduzir os reagentes gasosos através da entrada; (b) passar os reagentes para baixo através de pelo menos um tubo até a superfície superior do, ou primeiro portador catalisador onde passam para dentro da passagem definida pela parede perfurada interna do recipiente antes de passar radialmente através do leito do catalisador em direção à parede externa perfurada; (c) permitir que as reações ocorressem à medida que o gás contata o catalisador; (d) passar reagente não reagido e produto para fora do recipiente através da parede externa perfurada e então para cima entre a superfície interna da aba e a parede externa do recipiente anular até que atinjam a vedação onde são dirigidas sobre a extremidade da aba e induzidos a fluir para baixo entra a superfície externa da aba e a superfície interna do tubo reator onde ocorre a transferência de calor; (e) repetir as etapas (b) até (d) em qualquer portador de catalisador subsequente; e (f) remover o produto da saída.
