Abstract
MICRO-ORGANISMOS RECOMBINANTES, PROCESSO DE CONVERSÃO DE BIOMASSA LIGNOCELULÓSICA EM 1 ,2- PROPANODIOL OU ISOPROPANOL, VIA METABÓLICA ENGENHEIRADA, AGRUPAMENTO GENÉTICO, E MÉTODO DE IDENTIFICAÇÃO DE DIOL DESIDRATASE INDEPENDENTE DA VITAMINA B12 QUE CONVERTE PROPANODIOL EM PROPANAL. A presente invenção fornece novas vias metabólicas que levam à formação de propanol, álcool ou poliol em um sistema de bioprocessamento consolidado (CBP), onde a biomassa lignocelulósica é eficientemente convertida em tais produtos. Mais especificamente, a invenção fornece um micro-organismo recombinante, onde o micro-organismo expressa uma ou mais enzimas nativas e/ou heterólogas; onde a uma ou mais enzimas funcionam com uma ou mais vias metabólicas engenheiradas para alcançar: (1) conversão de uma fonte de carboidrato em 1,2-propanodiol, isopropropanol, etanol e/ou glicerol; (2) conversão de uma fonte de carboidrato em n-propanol e isopropanol; (3) conversão de uma fonte de carboidrato em isopropanol e metanol; ou (4) conversão de uma fonte de carboidrato em propanodiol e acetona; em que a uma ou mais enzimas nativas e/ou heterólogas são ativadas, suprarreguladas ou infrarreguladas.
