Abstract
Trata-se de um sistema e método de detecção que usa um marcador magnético implantável que compreende pelo menos um pedaço de um material de grande salto Barkhausen (LBJ). O marcador é instalado para marcar um local de tecido no corpo para cirurgia subsequente, e o sistema de detecção magnética inclui a sonda portátil para excitar o marcador abaixo do campo de comutação para comutação biestável do marcador que faz com que uma resposta harmônica seja gerada em um modo sub-biestável que permite que o marcador seja detectado e localizado. O marcador implantado também pode ser mais curto do que o comprimento crítico necessário para iniciar a comutação biestável do material de LBJ.
