Abstract

sistema e método para regenerar o filtro de partículas em um motor a diesel em um motor a diesel equipado com um sistema para regeneração automática do filtro de particulado, o modo de regeneração automática é inibido no caso em que existe um número gravado maior do que um limiar pré-definido de eventos desfavoráveis, ou seja, de interrupções do passo de regeneração automática antes de ser completado, e/ou no caso onde uma qualidade insuficiente do óleo lubrificante do motor é detectada devido a uma diluição no óleo de combustível injetado com as injeções atrasadas que são necessárias para regenerar o filtro. quando o modo de regeneração automática é inibido, um modo de regeneração sob demanda é simultaneamente permitido, que pode ser ativado manualmente pelo motorista. o sistema checa neste caso que a regeneração sob demanda é executada antes de o veículo ter percorrido certa quilometragem desde que o modo de regeneração automática tiver sido inibido. caso contrário, o veículo é submetido a uma condição de desempenho limitado, para induzir o motorista a executar o modo de regeneração manual. se isso não for feito antes de uma quilometragem maior ter sido percorrida, a regeneração manual é também inibida, tornando a regeneração possível apenas em uma oficina.
