Abstract

"COMPOSIçãO REFRIGERANTE ANTICONGELAMENTO, MéTODOS PARA MELHORAR A ESTABILIDADE DO GLICOL A ALTA TEMPERATURA DE UMA COMPOSIçãO REFRIGERANTE ANTICONGELAMENTO, E PARA PREPARAR UMA COMPOSIçãO REFRIGERANTE ANTICONGELAMENTO". A presente invenção compreende uma composição refrigerante anticongelamento melhorada com certos aditivos que servem aumentar a estabilidade térmica do componente de glicol de uma composição refrigerante de glicol/água e reduzir a tendência do componente de glicol a degradar sob condições térmicas elevadas. Estes aditivos compreendem compostos orgânicos com uma porção de ácido carboxílico e um porção hidroxila, e também ácido tricarbalilico. Outro aspecto desta invenção se refere a um método por melhorar a estabilidade do componente de glicol de uma composição refrigerante de glicol/água em sistemas de resfriamento/aquecimento para motor de combustão formulando uma composição refrigerante de glicol/água com o aditivo de estabilidade térmica para formar uma composição refrigerante melhorada, e contactado o sistema de resfriamento/aquecimento do motor de combustão com a composição refrigerante melhorada.
