A invenção refere-se a um aço de altíssima resistência mecânica, cuja composição química compreende, em % de peso: 0,060% <243> C <243> 0,250%; 0,400% <243> Mn <243> 0,950%; Si <243> 0,300%; Cr <243> 0,300%; 0,100% <243> Mo <243> 0,500%; 0,020% <243> Al <243> 0,100%; P <243> 0,100%; B <243> 0,010%; Ti <243> 0,050%, o restante sendo constituído de ferro e impurezas resultantes da elaboração. Refere-se, também, a um processo de fabricação de uma folha deste aço revestida de zinco ou liga de zinco.
