Abstract

"PROCESSO PARA A OXIDAçãO DIRETA DE PROPILENO EM óXIDO DE PROPILENO E CATALISADORES DE SILICALITO DE TITâNIO COM TAMANHO GRANDE DE PARTìCULA PARA USO NO MESMO". A presente invenção refere-se a cristais grandes de silicalito de titânio ou intercrescido de cristais menores intercrescidos que têm um tamanho médio de partícula de mais de 2 <109>m que são cataliticamente eficazes em taxas comercialmente razoáveis para a epoxidação de olefinas na presença de peróxido de hidrogênio. Os cristais sintetizados com uma fonte de sílica tendo um baixo teor de sódio exibem níveis elevados de produção e seletividade. Os cristais têm uma baixa taxa de atrito e são facilmente filtráveis de uma corrente de produto.
