- 1.
- Una composición de revestimiento arquitectónico, que comprende partículas de sílice y/o silicato que tienen un tamaño de partícula de 3 a 15 µm, y un valor de absorción de aceite mayor que 100 cm3/100g.

- Una composición de revestimiento arquitectónico, que comprende partículas de sílice y/o silicato que tienen un
5 valor de absorción de aceite de hasta 100 cm3/100g; en donde al menos 80 % de las partículas de sílice están redondeadas a bien redondeadas; y en donde las partículas de sílice tienen un factor de esfericidad (S80) mayor que 0,9 y un valor de Abrasión Einlehner de latón menor que 8,0 mg de pérdida/100.000 revoluciones. - 3. Una composición de revestimiento arquitectónico, que comprende un producto de sílice y/o silicato, cuyo producto de sílice/silicato se prepara por un método que comprende: (a) alimentar continuamente un agente acidulante y un10 silicato de metal alcalino en una zona de reacción en circuito que comprende una corriente de medio líquido; en donde al menos una porción del agente acidulante y el silicato de metal alcalino reaccionan para formar el producto de sílice y/o silicato en el medio líquido de la zona de reacción en circuito; (b) hacer recircular continuamente el medio líquido a través de la zona de reacción en circuito; y (c) descargar continuamente de la zona de reacción en circuito una porción del medio líquido que comprende el producto de sílice y/o silicato.15 4. La composición de la reivindicación 1, que además comprende al menos uno de agua, propilenglicol, un aglutinante, un estabilizante, un producto coalescente, un desespumante, un tensioactivo, un dispersante, un tampón del pH, carbonato de calcio, un biocida, una emulsión acrílica, o una combinación de estos.
