Abstract

"MéTODO DE FORMAçãO DE UMA MANTA EXTENSìVEL EM PELO MENOS UMA DIREçãO". Um método de formação de fibras de bicomponente em uma manta é mostrado. O método inclui as etapas de co-extrusão de um primeiro componente e um segundo componente. O primeiro componente tem uma percentagem de recuperação R~ 1~ e o segundo componente tem uma percentagem de recuperação R~ 2~, onde R~ 1~ é mais alta do que R~ 2~. Os primeiro e segundo componentes são dirigidos através de um conjunto de fiação para a formação de uma pluralidade de fibras fundidas contínuas. As fibras fundidas então são direcionadas através de uma câmara de resfriamento brusco para a formação de uma pluralidade de fibras resfriadas contínuas. A pluralidade de fibras resfriadas contínuas então é direcionada através de uma unidade de estiramento para a formação de uma pluralidade de fibras lineares sólidas contínuas. As fibras lineares são então depositadas em um suporte móvel, tal como um fio de formação, para formar um acúmulo de fibras. o acúmulo de fibras é estabilizado e ligado para a formação de uma manta.
