Abstract
"PROCESSO CONTìNUO PARA A POLIMERIZAçãO EM FASE SóLIDA DE POLIéSTERES". A presente invenção refere-se a um processo para a polimerização contínua em fase sólida de poliéster a fim de obter um aumento no peso molecular mensurável através do aumento da viscosidade intrínseca VI do poliéster, no qual é propiciado o uso de pelo menos um reator (15), sendo o referido reator (15) cilíndrico girando em torno do seu próprio eixo (S), substancialmente horizontal, ligeiramente inclinado, para assim produzir a polimerização dos grânulos de poliéster passando através do referido reator por gravidade graças à inclinação e rotação do referido reator, sendo produzido no interior do reator um fluxo de gás de purga tendo a mesma direção ou a direção oposta em relação ao fluxo dos referidos grânulos de poliéster.
