Abstract

"PROCESSO PARA AUMENTAR O RENDIMENTO QUANDO DA PRODUçãO DE áLCOOIS POLIVALENTES". O objeto da presente invenção consiste em um processo para o aumento do rendimento quando da produção de álcoois polivalentes obtidos através da condensação de formaldeído com um aldeído superior, em especial trimetilolpropano, através do tratamento com ácido de uma mistura (fração de alto ponto de ebulição) contendo derivados destes álcoois e um ponto de ebulição mais alto do que o respectivo álcool, obtida através de reprocessamento, e recuperação álcool polivalente a partir da fração de alto ponto de ebulição tratada com ácido, caracterizado pelo fato de que o conteúdo de água da fração de alto ponto de ebulição é de 20 a 90%, em peso, com base na quantidade total da fração de alto ponto de ebulição e água.
