Abstract

"COPOLìMERO EM BLOCO ESTIRêNICO RADIAL OU UM DERIVADO HIDROGENADO DO MESMO MéTODO PARA PREPARAR UM COPOLìMERO EM BLOCO ESTIRêNICO RADIAL, E, BETUME MODIFICADO". é exposto um aperfeiçoamento em um processo para preparar copolímeros em bloco acoplados, em que a adição de cerca de 0,01 a cerca de 1,5 equivalentes de um composto alquila metálico por equivalente de terminais de cadeia de polímero vivo ao cimento, durante ou após a polimerização, aperfeiçoa as eficiências de acoplamento. Os copolímeros em bloco estirênicos radiais resultantes possuem quantidades reduzidas de oligómeros de braço 5+, que podem ser muito desejáveis em certas aplicações, tais como na modificação de betume.
