Abstract
"CLASSIFICADOR E SEPARADOR ELETROSTáTICO DE ALTA TENSãO, E MéTODO ASSOCIADO". A presente invenção se refere a um classificador e separador eletrostático de alta tensão, o separador eletrostático sendo para o beneficiamento ou a separação de materiais particulados e, mais particularmente, a um separador eletrostático de alta tensão incluindo uma seção de classificador de corona para a classificação de materiais particulados em concordância com o tamanho e com a condutividade, e a um método associado. Em concordância com a presente invenção, o referido classificador e separador eletrostático de alta tensão está suportado por um alojamento e inclui uma seção de classificador de corona para classificação de materiais particulados em concordância com o tamanho. Recursos de corona suprem íons móveis para bombardeamento de materiais particulados caindo abaixo em uma galeria a partir de um reservatório. Um divisor e uma peneira podem estar incluídos na galeria para direcionar materiais particulados em materiais particulados em respectivas frações. A primeira seção de separador é para recepção de frações de materiais particulados de tamanho fino a médio e a segunda seção de separador é para recepção de frações de materiais particulados de tamanho médio a grosso. Um chassi de suporte possuindo fendas ajustáveis suporta uma pluralidade de eletrodos estáticos. Recurso de corona para emissão de uma carga de corona está distanciado geralmente em um primeiro quadrante da primeira seção de separador. Uma escova rotativa e um excêntrico de corrente alternada podem estar incluídos para remoção de frações não condutivas de materiais particulados de tamanho fino a médio a partir da primeira seção de separador. Um adicional divisor e/ou um defletor podem estar incluídos para guiar frações de material particulado em respectivos receptáculos, em cima de uma correia transportadora ou o assemelhado. Em uma concretização alternativa, a seção de classificador de corona pode estar alojada e energizada separadamente e independentemente a partir da primeira seção de separador e da segunda seção de separador. Também em concordância com a presente invenção, é apresentado um método para a classificação e a separação de materiais particulados condutivos e não condutivos a ser empregado utilizando a disposição de classificador e de separador eletrostático de alta tensão anteriormente descrita.
