Abstract

"PROCESSO PARA FABRICAçãO DE UMA GUARNIçãO DE VIDRAçA". Trata-se de um apêndice (7) que é moldado sobre um perfil de guarnição de vidraça (3) provido em torno da periferia de uma folha de vidro (2), envolvendo um processo que compreende o deslocamento de avanço de um molde (20) para posicionamento do mesmo em contato passível de formação de vedação com uma parte adequada do perfil, introdução de uma determinada quantidade de material polimérico (39) em uma cavidade de molde (40), aguardando-se que o material polimérico se una ao perfil de guarnição de vidraça. A folha de vidro permanece fora da cavidade do molde, e preferencialmente não é contatada pelo molde. O material polimérico pode ser de um tipo de cura térmica ou de um tipo termoplástico, e é preferencialmente introduzido na cavidade do molde enquanto o molde se encontra aberto. O material pode ser vertido caso se encontre em estado fluido, ou caso seja de tipo termoplástico, pode ser introduzido como uma peça pré-formada (50) que é submetida a uma fusão superficial para se unir ao perfil de guarnição de vidraça. O processo é adequado para moldagem de cantos vivos em perfis extrudados de guarnições de vidraças para veículos (1).
