Abstract

"SISTEMA DE REATOR E PROCESSO PARA REAçõES ALTAMENTE EXOTéRMICAS". A presente invenção refere-se a um processo para a produção de compostos de oxirano pela reação de uma olefina, tal como propileno, com um hidroperóxido orgânico usando um catalisador de contato sólido, caracterizado pelo fato de que uma série de zonas de reação separadas é usada, cada uma recheada com catalisador de epoxidação, e a concentração de hidroperóxido na alimentação para cada zona de reação é mantida abaixo de 8% em peso.
