Abstract

"FREIO DE TAMBOR E SAPATA PARA FREIO DE TAMBOR". Sendo que a presente invenção refere-se a um freio de tambor compreendendo uma placa (1) em que pelo menos uma sapata (2, 3) provida de revestimento de fricção seja montada, meio de aplicação (8, 9) da sapata contra um tambor de roda (10) em resposta a um comando de frenagem, e meios de retorno resiliente para distanciá-la do tambor quando a frenagem cessar. A sapata (2, 3) é montada para deslizar ao longo de um eixo essencialmente radial entre duas paredes-guia (4a, 4b; 5a, 5b;) presos à placa, os meios de aplicação (8, 9) para comprimir a sapata contra a parede interna da sapata, para exercer uma força substancialmente radial.
