Abstract

"AMORTECEDOR DE IMPACTO PARA DISTRIBUIDOR". Um amortecedor de impacto (1: 20: 40: 60) formado de material refratário que compreende uma base (2: 22: 42: 62) que tem uma superfície de impacto que, em uso, fica voltada para cima contra uma corrente de metal em fusão que entra em um distribuidor, uma parede (4: 23: 43: 63) que se estende para cima a partir da base em tomo de pelo menos uma parte da periferia da superfície de impacto, uma ou mais regiões da parte superior da parede suportando uma ou mais saliências (5; 24: 44: 64) que se projetam para dentro sobre a periferia da base. Pelo menos uma das ditas saliências tem pelo menos uma parte cuja subsuperfície curva-se ou inclina-se, a curvatura ou inclinação ficando disposta em uma direção ao longo do comprimento da parede. Preferivelmente, o amortecedor tem base retangular e um par de paredes opostas é provido com uma saliência que arqueia para cima em direção ao centro da parede. Uma saliência (33, 34) no segundo par de paredes pode, por exemplo, ser plana e paralela à base. A largura das saliências curvos ou inclinados aumenta em ambas as direções para fora do seu centro/topo.
