"SISTEMA E MéTODO PARA GERENCIAR APLICAçõES DE SOFTWARE EM UMA INTERFACE GRáFICA DO USUáRIO". Um sistema e método para gerenciar janelas de aplicação de software em uma interface gráfica do usuário tendo uma área de exibição da área de trabalho e barra de tarefas são proporcionados. Cada programa instanciado é representado como uma ou mais janelas gráficas na área de trabalho e como um redimensionamento de controle na barra de tarefas. os redimensionamentos de controle são agrupados em grupos de redimensionamento de controle que facilitam a organização e o controle de acesso único. Os grupos do redimensionamento de controle de projeto permitem o agrupamento de múltiplas aplicações de software. Adicionalmente, o leiaute e estado do grupo de redimensionamento de controle minimizado podem ser preservados e pré visualizados antes de serem restaurados.
