Abstract
"MéTODO PARA AUMENTAR A VIDA úTIL DE UM CATALISADOR DE HIDRO-OXIDAçãO". Método para aumentar a vida útil de um catalisador de hidro-oxidação compreendendo, preferivelmente, ouro, prata, ou misturas dos mesmos, e opcionalmente um ou mais promotores, num suporte contendo titânio, tal como titanossilicato ou titânio disperso em silica. O método da invenção envolve contatar o suporte de catalisador com um composto organossilícico de funcionalidade hidroxila, um composto organossilícico de funcionalidade carboxila, ou uma mistura de compostos organossilícicos de funcionalidade hidroxila e de funcionalidade carboxila, tal como, metilsiliconato de sódio ou (2-carboxipropil)tetrametil-dissiloxano. Preferivelmente o contato é conduzido durante a deposição dos metais catalíticos e promotores opcionais sobre o suporte. Reivindica-se também uma composição de catalisador e um processo de hidro-oxidação utilizando o suporte de catalisador tratado com silício.
