Abstract

"PROMOTORES DE TECIDO VASCULAR". A presente invenção fornece composições e métodos para regular a expressão de seq³ências de nucleotídeo heterólogas em uma planta. As composições incluem uma nova seq³ência de nucleotídeo para um promotor preferido de tecido vascular para o gene codificando a prunasina hidrolase e as seq³ências isoladas desta. Um método para expressar uma seq³ência de nucleotídeo heteróloga em uma planta usando-se as seq³ências promotoras aqui divulgadas é fornecido. O método compreende incorporar de forma estável no genoma de uma célula de planta, uma seq³ência de nucleotídeo operativamente ligada ao promotor de tecido vascular preferido da presente invenção e regenerar uma planta transformada de forma estável que expressa a seq³ência de nucleotídeo.
