Abstract

"MéTODO E EQUIPAMENTO PARA ALINHAR NO TEMPO TRANSMISSõES DE VáRIAS ESTAçõES BASE EM SISTEMA DE COMUNICAçãO CDMA" Trata-se de esquemas para alinhar no tempo transmissões de várias estações base para um terminal. Para se obter o alinhamento no tempo, diferenças entre os tempos de chegada das transmissões das estações base, observadas no terminal, são determinadas e fornecidas ao sistema e empregadas para ajustar a sincronizaçao nas estações base de modo que os radioframes específicos do terminal chequem ao terminal dentro de uma janela de tempo específica. Em um esquema, uma diferença de tempo entre duas estações base é particionada em uma diferença de tempo ao nível de frame e uma diferença ao nível de chip. Sempre que solicitado a efetuar e relatar medições de diferença de tempo, o terminal mede a sincronização ao nível de chip para cada estação base candidata com relação a uma estação base de referência. Além disto, o terminal mede também a sincronização ao nível de frame e inclui esta informação na medição de diferença de tempo somente se necessário. Caso contrário, o terminal fixa a parte de nível de frame em um valor predeterminado (como, por exemplo, zero).
