Abstract
"PROCESSO PARA OBTENçãO DE UM áCIDO ORGâNICO A PARTIR DE UM SAL DE AMÈNIO DE áCIDO ORGâNICO, DE AMIDA DE áCIDO ORGâNICO, OU DE UM COMPLEXO DP ALQUILAMINA/áCIDO ORGâNICO". Divulgam-se aqui métodos para a recuperação de um ácido orgânico, tal como ácido lático termoestável, a partir de uma corrente de alimentação compreendendo pelo menos um dentre uma amida de ácido orgânico, um sal de amónio de ácido orgânico, ou um complexo de alquilamina/ácido orgânico. A corrente de alimentação que compreende a amida de ácido orgânico, o sal de amónio de ácido orgânico, ou o complexo de alquilamina/ácido orgânico é misturada com pelo menos um agente azeotrópico. O agente azeotrópico é um hidrocarboneto capaz de formar pelo menos um azeótropo com o ácido orgânico que é produzido pela decomposição térmica da amida, sal de amónio, ou complexo na corrente de alimentação. Preferivelmente o azeótropo é um heteroazeótropo. A mistura compreendendo a corrente de alimentação e o agente azeotrópico é aquecida produzindo uma corrente de vapor que compreende o azeótropo. A corrente de vapor pode ser condensada até uma corrente líquida, e o ácido orgânico é recuperado na corrente líquida que é produzida. Quando o azeótropo compreendendo o ácido orgânico é um heteroazeótropo, a corrente de vapor pode ser condensada numa corrente líquida, que pode ser separada numa primeira fase e numa segunda fase. A primeira fase contém a concentração máxima de ácido orgânico e a segunda fase compreende o agente azeotrópico. O ácido orgânico pode ser purificado e/ou concentrado adicionalmente a partir da primeira fase separada ou a partir da corrente líquida.
