Abstract

"PROCESSO DE DESTILAçãO AZEOTRóPICA PARA PRODUZIR áCIDOS ORGâNICOS OU AMIDAS DE áCIDO ORGâNICO". Um método para a recuperação de pelo menos um de um ácido orgânico ou uma amida de ácido orgânico, tal como ácido lático ou lactamida estáveis termicamente, de uma corrente de alimentação (1) incluindo misturar a citada corrente de alimentação que compreende o ácido orgânico e/ou amida de ácido orgânico com pelo menos um agente azeotropante (2) no reator (3) . O agente azeotropante é um hidrocarboneto capaz de formar pelo menos um heteroazeotropo com o ácido orgânico ou a amida de ácido orgânico. A mistura é aquecida para produzir uma corrente de vapor (11) e a corrente de vapor é adicionalmente aquecida para separar componentes ou ela pode ser condensada no condensador (12) em uma corrente líquida. A corrente líquida é capaz de ser separada em uma primeira fase (18) e uma segunda fase (17) . A corrente líquida pode ser adicionalmente destilada ou, alternativamente, as duas fases da corrente líquida podem ser separadas. A primeira fase pode ser separada do restante da corrente líquida resultando na recuperação do ácido orgânico e/ou amida de ácido orgânico. O ácido orgânico e/ou amida de ácido orgânico recuperado pode ser adicionalmente purificado e/ou concentrado a partir da primeira fase separada.
