Abstract
"CéLULA DE ELETRóLISE DE ALTA EFICIêNCIA PARA A GERAçãO DE OXIDANTES EM SOLUçõES". A invenção refere-se a um método para matar microorganismos em água, mediante a passagem de uma solução aquosa de alimentação que compreende água contendo alguma forma de sal haleto pela célula de eletrólise sem membrana que contém um anodo e um catodo, adjacente ao anodo, enquanto uma corrente elétrica flui entre o anodo e o catodo para eletrolisar a solução aquosa de alimentação e converter o sal haleto em oxidantes antimicrobicidas mistos.
