Abstract
"PROCESSO DE PRODUçãO DE Pó DE NIóBIO E/OU DE TâNTALO DE ELEVADA áREA SUPERFICIAL". A presente invenção refere-se a um processo de produção de pó de nióbio e/ou de tântalo de elevada pureza, elevada superfície específica, teores de oxigênio e nitrogênio controlados, e morfologia apropriada para ser usada na fabricação de capacitores, caracterizado por uma única etapa de redução de uma camada controlada de óxido de nióbio e/ou de tântalo (Nb~ x~O~ Y~, e/ou Ta~ x~,O~ y~, onde x = 1 a 2 e y = 1 a 5) propositalmente formada sobre partículas de nióbio e/ou de tântalo metálico e/ou seus hidretos de pureza adequada, por metais e/ou hidretos de metais alcalinos ou alcalino terrosos em um banho de sais fundidos seguido de uma etapa de dissolução do sal em uma solução aquosa para recuperação do pó de nióbio e/ou de tântalo. Estas partículas produzidas com o presente processo são de tamanho reduzido, têm elevada área superficial e morfologia esponjosa, sendo adequadas para a produção de capacitores.
