Abstract
"ROTOR E MANCAL PARA UM TURBO-COMPRESSOR PARA MOTORES DE COMBUSTãO INTERNA". Um turbo-compressor (10) possuindo um motor elétrico (82, 84) para ajudar o início de rotação do motor emprega um eixo portando a turbina (32) e impelidor de compressor com um mancal unitário semiflutuante fixado por pinos (56) suportando o eixo (48) e um colar espaçador (70) portando o magneto (84) do motor elétrico. O mancal unitário possui faces integrais de encosto (86, 88) engajando um cubo (38) do volante de turbina (32) e o colar espaçador (70). Um diâmetro reduzido do eixo recebido no colar espaçador permite o colar a engajar uma aresta saliente de mancal de diâmetro maior (52) permitindo a fixação do impelidor do compressor com uma porca (80) sobre o eixo que se estende através de um furo no impelidor para engajar firmemente o impelidor, colar espaçador e aresta saliente de mancal do eixo para fixar o comprimento do rotor. O mancal semiflutuante fixado por pinos (56) com as faces integrais de encosto (86, 88) proporciona aprimorados momentos de reação para as forças de mola negativas criadas pelo motor elétrico em operação e o adicional comprimento do rotor criado pelo motor.
